Stay in a Good Mood Stop Mood Swings and Bad Moods
Figure out what disturbed your good mood and think if it is something you can or maybe even should get out of the world. Maybe it is something you have to have done, but dislike to do. Get it done! Get it behind you. Say to yourself that after you have done it you get something you enjoy. If you postpone something it destroys your good mood until you have done it.
If you have a big problem, stop thinking about it over and over again. Start thinking about how you can solve it. Start with brainstorming. Write down everything that comes into your mind, which could solve the problem, then go through the list and give each idea a number between one and ten. The good ideas get a one. Go again through the good ideas and pick out the best. And then start to get active.
If your home is a mess, this makes you feel bad. Get everything into order and clean up. It will make a big difference and raise your mood.
If someone has made you angry, make peace with this person in your imagination. Close your eyes and see this person coming toward you. Think about the situation from the point of view of the person who made you angry. Have a talk with him(her. Ask questions to clear things. If he/she did wrong forgive him/her. Forgiving gives you a good feeling.
The weather can disrupt your good mood. You can’t change the weather, but you can change your mood. Go out. If it is cold, go to a mall, meet with friends for lunch or for coffee. If you want to stay at home, read something which interests you, you focus your attention away from having a bad mood. Have soothing or uplifting music play. Taking a nap can change your mood.
If you are in a bad mood out of the blue, do something you enjoy, such as listening to music which uplifts you, taking a bath with a nice scent, taking a nap, giving a friend a call, reading an articles about a topic that interests you, going for a walk or a run. If you have no time for exercise, do some jumping-jacks or push ups a few minutes long. Go shopping and buy yourself something that you enjoy. Before you leave for shopping, tell yourself how much you may spend, because if you are in a bad mood, you might spend a lot of money for nonsense. Go have a full-body massage. This will make you feel great. Sit down, close your eyes, make long breaths and think of things you enjoy. Go to a mirror and smile at yourself. Laugh. You don’t need a reason to laugh, just laugh, you will be surprised what a difference laughing makes.
What can you do to stay in a good mood, stop mood swings and bad moods
If body and mind are in balance, your mood will stay good.
Exercise releases endorphins that improve your mood. Exercise daily. Bring diversity into your exercise routine. Go for a walk, go to the gym and workout with machines, workout with free weights, make floor exercises, do yoga exercises, or do martial arts. Exercise makes you feel better and if you do it regularly the good mood will stay.
If you meditate daily mood swings and bad moods will belong to the past. Soon after you began to meditate you will see the world and everything surrounding you from another perspective. You get to know another world. If it is the world within or the world of another realm, I don’t know. People who meditate regularly have a constant smile on their face and so will you.
