Is it possible today to eat clean?
What does it mean to eat clean food? It means no pesticides and no chemical fertilizers used for growing plants, no hormones and no chemicals injected into live stock and no industrially processed foods. Eating clean food is eating natural and organic foods. It means to discover natural, flavourful and nutritious foods. It is about changing how we view food, prepare meals and fuel our body, mind and soul.
How can we be sure that a food is clean? This is not easy. All we can do, is buying organic whenever possible.
Eating clean and eating a certain quantity body fat deposits dissolve without being hungry. Automatically you will not eat more as your body needs and you will not have any cravings, because as soon as your body is getting all necessary nutrients you will feel satiated. When your body is having nutrient deficiencies you can’t stop eating. You are eating more and more, as the body wants to tell you that it needs essential nutrients. Strangely, when you are eating wrong, not only that you can’t stop eating, but also you are having cravings for sweets. It is kind of a devils-cirle. There are women who do not eat enough and have nutritional deficits often have cravings for sweets.
Eating clean one feels much better in general, fresh and energetic. Think of an apple
and then think of eating canned food. Already by thinking of fresh and clean food you feel the difference. You will have no more bloating. Your skin will look smoother and cleaner and several ailments will vanish. You might even need less sleep.
After having eaten clean and mostly raw, you will more and more dislike ready made food. When going by a fast-food restaurants you will not appreciate the smell.
What to eat when eating clean
You can eat clean being vegetarian, as also non-vegetarian.
Natural unprocessed foods: fresh produce like fruits, vegetables, herbs and meat, fish, nuts,, spices, water, juices freshly made of fruits or vegetables and herbs. Eat a lot of foods raw, as like this most nutrients (vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals) stay. When you cook, cook on low heat and quick.
It is recommended to use little oil for cooking. We need enough fat in our diet. Good fat is in: avocados, nuts, sesame paste, olives, Good oils: walnut oil, argan oil, olive oil, coconut oil. Buy best quality. (Foods I mention are not the full list. It is only examples.)
It is best to eat the whole of a food. For example have some olives instead of using olive oil. Eat vitamin rich foods instead of taking vitamin pills, as in the whole food are not only vitamins, but also phyto-chemicals, which are as important as vitamins and also the natural combination makes a big difference.
