GAIN MUSCLE AND BURN BODYFAT

To gain muscle and burn bodyfat at the same time is possible. The more muscle mass you have the more you can eat without gaining weight or bodyfat. If you eat less as your body actually needs you first lose bodyfat.

Just a reminder: Fat does not weigh very much. You might be skinny and weigh more than your neighbor who is overweight, though has the same height as you. No, there is no such thing as heavier bones! Make the test: Buy a piece of meat with a lot of fat and weigh it. Then cut the fat away and weigh the meat again. You see, there is not so much difference!

Most people who have a lot of fat reserves say that they want to lose weight, which actually is the wrong approach. What they really want is to lose fat. The next mistake most people make is that when they want to lose bodyfat they stop to eat fat. This is a wrong approach, as when the body does not get essential fats it holds on to fat. The dieter eats no fat and eats less and less and does not lose any bodyfat. You need to give your body what it needs and this is protein, fat and nutrients which you find in good carbohydrates, with which I mean fruit and veggetables.

There are people who believe that they find a way to lose bodyfat and sit on their couch the moment they come home from sitting in front of a desk the dear whole day. Forget it! Our body has been made to move. That our metabolic system works we need to move. As we are not working physically hard, except for some including athlets, and do not walk and run for several hours a day, we need to workout a little each day. Just think: One day has 24 hours. You need between 5 to 8 hours of sleep. Most of us need to work 8 hours, which they do by sitting. One hour might be lost on the way to work and back home and 30 to 60 minutes are for lunch. 6 hours are left, which are spend getting dressed in the morning, having breakfast, having dinner, get ready for bed. The rest is time for family and interests and there should be some time for sports. Working out 30 minutes each day 5 to 6 days a week is already enough.

So, here we are: REGULAR WORKOUT! There just is no way around it. But wait before you eat less and work out hard for too long. You would not gain muscle mass and burn fat.

If you want to look and feel good, you must shape and tighten your muscles to get and keep your body in shape. And if you need to burn bodyfat, to build muscle mass is the best way. The more muscle mass the more energy (=calories) your body needs.

Okay, you say, you know all that, but isn't there a way to lose bodyfat faster as with the usual way?

Yes, there is: You workout with weights and eat less. A horrible package, but it works better than anything else. Eating the right foods, you would not feel hungry and you would build muscle at the same time.

How to lower your bodyfat and maintain as much muscle mass as possible?

Second: Eat less, but keep the protein and fat intake high. Combine protein and fat with good carbohydrates: veggetables (though skip starchy veggetables) and some fruit. Even eat at night. Eat what has big volume and few calories to make your body believe it is getting a lot of food.

Third: Use the power of the mind over the body. You can use your mind to change your body and your performance. Yes, you can workout with weights in your mind while you lie in bed or sit somewhere relaxed.
